Under the supervision of CSPD personnel, volunteers assist CAC, FIU, and CAARA, by conducting a variety of investigative tasks to enhance the successful prosecution of cases involving children and at-risk adults. Volunteers will review information from other agencies, create case reports, assist with forwarding information to other agencies, watch forensic interviews and suspect interviews, contact family members/witnesses to gather information for investigative purposes, conduct caregiver/parent interviews under the supervision of a detective or Investigative Specialist, and complete detailed supplements on any investigative tasks.
